Let me start this month’s post by saying I watch Dulce Candy and That’s Heart a lot. It’s their hauls that kind of make me go out and try new products and see what is new.

Nivea Lip Butter

I found this from watching one of That’s Heart’s videos and as it was Nivea I was definitely going to try it. I like Nivea and I was using one of their lip balms for a few months at one point and even my husband would steal it every now and then. They have a good record and this lip butter was right on track. I bought Smooth Kiss (original) and Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss, which smells like white chocolate but doesn’t taste like it. I love that they give glossy lips but not I-just-ate-fried-chicken lips. I could wear it on it’s own. It does keep your lips very moisturized. I wear the original at night and my lips aren’t dried out in the morning and I keep the Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss in my handbag. It’s a product that I’ll buy again for sure when I run out, provided that they do not discontinue it. Funny enough, Heart mentioned this in her April Favorites as well :).

 DiorSkin Nude (Deep)

I bought this as my official BB Cream. First of all, the best surprise I got was the pump. A pump on a tube? Excellent! I get the perfect amount every time. I guess if I wanted more coverage I could add more but when I use one pump it evens out my skin and I love how soft and smooth it feels. Be sure to set this with setting/finishing powder. It does transfer a bit so be careful when wearing white and if you are trying on clothes.

Anastasia Brow Kit – Brunette

I wrote about this product here when I first received it. I always used brow pencils before and I didn’t know I could like an eyebrow kit as much as I like this one. I even like it more than the Too Faced Brow Envy kit >_<. This is definitely a staple in my collection.

Tiffany Necklace

Tiffany Necklace

This necklace and matching bracelet was my first Christmas gift as Mrs. Fowler. I often wear the bracelet with the charm as I thought the necklace was too chunky for everyday wear, but nice for special occasions. Boy was I wrong! I put the charm on the necklace and wore it the other day with jeans and a t-shirt. I don’t know why I hadn’t done it earlier. I’m obsessed with it. I normally wear dainty chains (two that he also got for me) but in changing things up a little, I’m very happy that I took a step out of the box. It is a little heavy, so after wearing it for a day and taking it off, I keep feeling like something is missing around my neck. I know something is a hit when my husband does a double take and says it looks nice lol.

DDF Clarifying Hydrator

I showed this to you here and I just started using it as the weather is getting warmer. I was keeping it for warmer weather because my skin gets a little oilier around this time and this is what it is supposed to do:

• Minimizes the look of sebum build-up
• Controls the appearance of oily shine
• Promotes balanced skin clarity

What is sebum? I didn’t know either! And I just looked it up to add to this post lol. This is how Bing defined it:

This explains why after 6 hours my face still looks fresh, and going on 12 hours I have a slight shine. I should add that now I’m wearing sunblock as well and that also gives me a matte look. And it has a pump as well! No over pouring here. I use two pumps to get just over a pea-sized amount. Since the sun was out out for a few days I wasn’t using the Dior BB creme often, I use the DDF and sunblock on my face, fill in my eyebrows and lipgloss and I’m out the door. I look like I’m wearing something on my face – foundation or powder, something. It is also listed under their Acne line. Another one for the staples!
