I posted a few weeks ago that I was using Dark & Lovely’s 6 Week Anti-Reversion Cream and I think I’ve used it enough to give an honest review. Truth is, my hair gets done in too short a period for a full 6 week review but as it gets longer I should be able to last a little longer and do a full 6 weeks of using it. Before I give my review, you must know that my hair grows very fast and it is thick. 6 weeks of new growth for me is about 1/2 inch of new growth.

My review:

I got my hair relaxed this morning and it was last done 6 weeks ago. I’ve washed my hair about 3-4 times in between there. I usually go about 10 days after the relaxer and then I do not wash it 2 weeks prior to the next relaxer. Every time I washed my hair, I used it. Within these last two weeks, I could see that my hair was a lot more manageable and with the flat iron it did reasonable fresh. Considering that I wash it every week, I was impressed with how soft it still felt within these last two weeks. Normally I’d cringe at the thought of combing my hair during that period but I didn’t have any problems – except for my hairline drying out from sweating at the gym and using a shower cap. I will continue to use it and monitor any changes but for sure, this is a staple.
