Here it is! My wishlist for Fall. These are items that I’m not going to just purchase randomly but make sure I buy quality items that will last a while. We can have some pretty unpredictable weather and one thing I’ve noticed about Seattle is that the weather  determines how people dress which then explains the huge comfort factor. However, I do believe that one can be comfortable and somewhat fashionable if a little effort is made. It doesn’t require a huge effort or budget. We all have different budgets we’re working with and the main thing is to be smart in what we decide to purchase. I’ve purchased the DV by Dolce Vita ‘Sandie’ in black so far for my black lace-up boots and I’m still on the hunt for the other items.

Another issue I have with most of these items is that I need to try them on. For example, I ordered Topshop Faux Leather Leggings from Nordstrom and had to return them because the waist was high above my natural waist and too long. I also tried on a pair in Express and that wasn’t any good either. As for the boots, with my short, really bony legs from the knee down, I have to make sure I don’t make myself look shorter or have my foot swimming in the shoe. I know it’s way to big when I can fit my hand in there fine without touching the sides.

So what’s officially on the list?

• hooded rain/trench coat (a hood is a must if you didn’t get that and the right length as to not make you shorter or look frumpy)
• black wedge booties (casual not too dressy, and a material that is easy to clean)
• faux leather leggings (must fit my short legs perfectly)
• black lace-up boots
