Nice Package!

I’ve been obsessed with cosmetics recently, moreso than clothing. I’ve got some specific clothing items in mind that I want to have by Fall, one I can officially cross off of the list, so I’m trying not to splurge on clothes until I get everything I’m looking for. (New post? Fall Essentials? 🙂 I’ll work on it!) But I’ve purchased quite a bit of cosmetic items that I think are definitely worth a share. So you’ll be seeing a few posts of items and if I’ve tried them by the time I post it, I’ll share my thoughts on them.

Within the first week of August, I received a web exclusive from Benefit Cosmetics – Create your own kit and receive a free make-up bag.

Stewie-say-what

Yea… I hopped on to that bus ASAP.

I opted for the following products:

I went for products that I didn’t have and that I wanted to try. However, I did have samples of the Hello Flawless and I love it so much I decided to get the big one now as I was going to buy it anyway. This whole kit was for $79 which is amazing considering purchasing all of these products without this deal is $102 plus a pink makeup bag? Practically a $137 value if you assume the bag is $35. That’s an awesome deal to me. I don’t know if this is a limited offer or if it is a new thing they’re doing but you better catch this deal before it’s gone. Check it out here. The other products, I’ve had my eye on but never bought so now was the perfect time to test them out at a slightly reduced price.

While we’re on the Benefit train… Last week I went to get my eyebrows done at the Benefit Brow Bar in Ulta (she did an awesome job btw) and a little package caught my eye. I wanted to try the benefit skincare line but didn’t know what product was best to start with. I was happy to find this all in one to get me started -the B.Right Radiant Skincare 6 Pc Intro Kit. I have it set aside to start using in the Fall when it gets colder. I was told that it would last long because you have to use very little of the product. We’ll see how it goes.

It contains the following (left to right):

Finally, also from Benefit Cosmetics, I bought a They’re Real mascara mini to keep in my make-up bag that I officially put together at the beginning of the month. I really like that mascara and it’s one I know wouldn’t fail me. Have you got any favorites from Benefit? Anything I *must* try? Let me know.

xx

  1. The Porefessional primer is excellent, as is the Hello Flawless powder. I have ordered a nice package kit and am waiting for it to come. I would also highly recommend all the blushes – I’ve used 10, Dandelion and Dallas, all of which are fantastic. Pretty much everything from benefit is fantastic, its one of those reliable cosmetic lines that never fails you.
