I feel like I haven’t done a post in forever and I wanted this post to be my first video. However, I have family visiting and they’ll be here a little while longer so I’m going to hold off on the video until after they leave. I’ll cut to the chase and get into it since I’m already so late.

Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-free Moisturizer – In the first week of July I bought several products from this line to switch it up as my skin was starting to break out a little. For me, a breakout is a tiny rash or tiny bumps that aren’t that noticeable to everyone but I am aware of the change. I’m going to do a post on all of the products I got from there but this one has stood out the most for me. I have tinted moisturizers, BB creams and foundations but for Summer, I haven’t been wearing them. This moisturizer really does it’s job with keeping my face matte. After about 6 hours a little shine may come through but not that significant that I have to blot it away or even be bothered by it. It’s definitely a keeper for Summer as it seems a bit drying. I’ll be switching it up for Fall/Winter so I’m going to milk this moisturizer for as long as I can.
theBalm Schwing black liquid eyeliner – I LOVED the matte finish on this eyeliner, I didn’t know it would be. It went on like a shiny black and dried matte – pleasant surprise! It gave me a very retro feel and I attempted a winged out look. It didn’t really work out but at least it inspired me lol. I’ve been doing a really subtle eye with the Stila eyeshadow but when I’m wearing black or any dark colours this has been my go-to product. I was in the market for a new one as my Eyeko eyeliner seemed to be drying out or running low (that was my favorite before this one that I’d gotten free in a subscription sample box). When I bought this one it was with other products from theBalm that I ordered from Lulu’s with a 20% off coupon. I’m so happy I got it!
CK One Color Shine Lipstick in 200 Rush – this is the item I bought during the last few days of July that has touched my lips everyday since I bought it. I should include it in August Favorites but I’m too excited so I’m adding it now. If you haven’t tried any of these GO OUT AND GET ONE ASAP!!!! I tested the regular lipstick on my hand and it felt too dry. This is the perfect mix of lip gloss/ lipstick. It’s nice and creamy and moisturizing and you can build the color. Sometimes I apply this after lip balm and it has the look of a tinted lip balm. So nice!
theBalm Put A Lid On It eyelid primer – Since I bought it I’ve been using it. One word – LOVE. And it stays. I’ve been using this with the Stila eyeshadow and hands down, these two have been worn practically everyday. If I put it on around 10am in the morning, when I go to shower at night between 9.30-11pm, my eyes still look like I just applied the eyeshadow or better. Definitely a product that I’ll keep using.
Stila Countless Color Pigments in Groupie – I spotted this gem in Nordstrom Rack when I was out shopping with my sister while she was visiting. I bought one and decided to try it the next day. I was soooo pleased with how it looked. I loved that I could highlight under my brows, a color for both my lid and crease ALL IN ONE. I went to Sephora to see if they had anymore as I knew I was going to hit pan on this product for sure. It wasn’t on display so I asked the lady if they still had any, she checked the drawer and they were there for $22. I said thanks and don’t bother as I’d gotten it for $9 in Nordstrom Rack. So my butt drove back to Factoria to pick up two more and another colour :). (I also picked up another color last week :P) I’m telling you, this colour is phenomenal. What I love the most is that the colours move around so by the end of the day, your lid is still pretty and just glowing but the crease and lid aren’t defined.
Smashbox Limitless Eye Liner Crayon in Dark Brown – This was also a Nordstrom Rack purchase that I’ve been using as a liner with Groupie when I don’t use Schwing. It just makes a perfect neutral eye that glistens a bit. It’s very smooth so it doesn’t tug on your eye during application and is very easy to use. It has a bit of glitter in it so it also brings out the copper tones in the Groupie eyeshadow. This was bought the same time as that eyeshadow and since then the two have been inseparable except for when Schwing wants to step into the mix for a change up.
So those have been my favorites for the month of July that are still going strong with a few others being added into the mix that I think will definitely make the cut for August Favorites. Hope I didn’t leave you hanging on the posts for too long! About to work on another one so I don’t leave you hanging again :).
