I was on Nordstrom looking for the Sam Edelman ‘Gracie’ sandal when I came back because I kept seeing it in my Instagram feed from Sam Edelman. It looked comfy and I was really liking the colours. I ordered a pair in New Nude Leopard/Zebra and while I was on there I saw that the DV by Dolce Vita ‘Dania’ sandal was on sale so I ordered two pairs of those in Mint/Bone and Black. You know, if there’s a sale, my radar finds it. I thought these would be perfect peeping out of maxi dresses and maxi skirts. All three are dressy sandals that I can wear when I don’t want to wear a sandal with an ankle strap and I want something nicer than a flip flop.
The island girl in me can never have too many flip flop-like shoes. I hardly wore enclosed shoes in Barbados and had to start building a collection when I moved to Washington. To see sandals like these, I had to practice restraint in how many I purchased as I’m still dying to get the Nude in the Dania sandal…
All three pairs arrived today and I tried them on and they are so soft and comfortable. I got a little surprise when I opened the Gracie because I didn’t realise the shoe had leopard and a zebra print. I just ordered it quickly after seeing the leopard and coral bit in the picture. No other colours were listed so I didn’t check to see what was listed. It was a pleasant surprise, because I like them even more now! They arrived just in time as we’ll be hitting 80°F+ this weekend. W00t!!
