Travel Makeup Kit

I’ve been showing a lot of fashion items for Spring but today’s post focuses on beauty. Spring break is coming up so I’d like to think I’ve helped someone narrow down what to take with them on their trip. I realized that every time I travel, I spend at least half an hour to forty-five minutes trying to figure out what to put in my makeup bag. I then thought maybe it would be wise to pack and have a makeup bag that I do not remove anything from, except lip products. It would be filled with products that I wouldn’t need to use outside of travel. I’ve collected a lot of minis and I’m using them to keep the bulkiness to a minimum as I use carry-ons a lot. Also if you use kits like this one from Benefit, you don’t have to carry much else. Obviously, I would add products depending on where I’m going but these are my staples. Here’s what I’ve put together:

Travel Makeup Kit

  1. Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner in Dark Brown (old name, new name Java)
  2. Anastasia Bold Brow Kit in Dark Brown
  3. MAC Veluxe Brow Liner in Deep Brunette
  4. Benefit Cosmetics mini Cha Cha Tint
  5. Benefit Cosmetics mini Dr. Feel Good
  6. Sleek Flick it Eyeliner in Black
  7. E.L.F sharpener (single)
  8. BeautyBlender
  9. Benefit Cosmetics mini: Sun Beam
  10. Benefit Cosmetics Minis in: Watt’s Up!
  11. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
  12. Stila Countless Color Pigments in Groupie
  13. Tweezerman Metal Eyelash Curler
  14. Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder

I haven’t decided on a product for my face yet, but it will either be a BB cream or foundation. The same goes for a mascara – it will depend on what I’m obsessed with at the moment. I know I haven’t shown a blush or bronzer either, but that’s what the Cha Cha Tint is for, and Watt’s Up is for highlighting. If I were to add a blush/bronzer, I’d go for my Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 Palette in Lace that my lovely bestie got me or the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette that has a highlighter, blush and Bronzer in one palette. The less containers you have to pack the better, so palettes are always a plus.

Of course, you should have a cute makeup bag for all of these lovely products! I have this one from Benefit with a different cover that I always use when I travel because it is flat and not bulky. Extra space is always a plus! Should you need to get travel containers, Amazon is a good place to check as well as beauty stores and pharmacies.

It’s officially 10 days until Spring!! Have a lovely week!

xx
